Day 1

Maun - Okavango Delta

On arrival at Maun Airport, a representative from Sanctuary will meet and assist you to your onward light aircraft charter flight to Stanley’s Camp. Stanley’s Camp is set among ebony and sausage trees, on a 260,000 acre private concession bordering the Moremi Game Reserve. The natural wonders of the area constantly change over the seasons, from lush green when the rain flows down the Angolan highlands to dry savannah when the neighbouring Kalahari Desert tightens its grip on the terrain. The afternoon is spent at your leisure to enjoy the game viewing activities on offer. Sanctuary Stanley’s Camp offers some of the best game viewing in the Okavango, including the rare and elusive wild dog. Activities available include serene mokoro canoe excursions (subject to water levels), exclusive bush dinners, and game drives in customised, open 4x4 vehicles - plus the rare opportunity for night drives. Guests also have the exclusive option of walking safaris with an armed professional guide. (D)

Day 2

Okavango Delta

Today you will enjoy the game activities offered by the camp. Activities on offer include mokoro canoe excursions (subject to water levels), game drives or a walking safari with an armed professional guide. (B)(L)(D)

Day 3

Okavango Delta

Enjoy a morning game viewing activity followed by breakfast. A camp representative will then transfer you to the airstrip for your charter flight to Chief’s Camp. Named after Chief Moremi, Sanctuary Chief’s Camp is located in the world renowned Moremi Game Reserve. The luxurious camp is ideal for an exciting African safari due to the vast numbers of animals that congregate all year round. Chief’s Island is one of the many islands created by the seasonal flood waters of the Okavango Delta and is well-known for the finest game viewing in southern Africa. This region is known as the “predator capital” of Africa and is considered to have the finest game viewing in Botswana including the Big Five. Accommodation comprises of twelve secluded, permanent luxury bush pavilions. Each unit features a thatched roof, spacious seating area, en-suite facilities with indoor and outdoor showers as well as a private game viewing deck with hammock and deck chairs. This afternoon’s activities include game drives and seasonal mokoro excursions (subject to water levels). (B)(L)(D)

Day 4

Okavango Delta

The game viewing opportunities around Sanctuary Chief’s Camp are awe-inspiring. Elephant, wild dog, cheetah and leopard can all be spotted close to camp and the area also boasts over 400 species of bird. (B)(L)(D)

Day 5

Okavango Delta – Chobe National Park

Today begins with a morning game viewing activity followed by breakfast. A camp representative will transfer you to the airstrip for your charter flight to Kasane. On arrival at Kasane Airport you will be met and transferred to your lodge, Chobe Chilwero. Sitting above the Chobe River, the lodge offers unparalleled panoramic views across the islands and flood plains as far across as Namibia. This is an incredibly luxurious lodge with just 15 guest cottages. Relax in the split-level swimming pool, unwind with a pampering session in the spa or enjoy the gourmet food that the lodge has become known for. This afternoon enjoy one of the game viewing activities on offer. (B)(L)(D)

Day 6

Chobe National Park

Thrilling guided game drives in open-sided 4X4 vehicles bring you to the heart of Africa’s largest concentration of elephants, as well as hippos, buffalos, antelope, lions and other animals that gather on the banks of the Chobe River. Or spot wildlife from the water, joining one of the acclaimed guides on a water safari on specially adapted motorboats. (B)(L)(D)

Day 7

Chobe National Park – Livingstone

Enjoy a morning game viewing activity followed by breakfast. You will then transfer via a ferry crossing to Livingstone Airport. The transfer time will be advised to you locally by the lodge management. The transfer time with be approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. (B)
