On arrival, transfer to your hotel.
Begin your sightseeing at the mosque of Jama Masjid then explore the alleyways of Old Delhi by rickshaw. Discover the gems on Chandni Chowk, pass by the wedding market, the spice market and sample some street foods. See a temple which feeds 10,000 people a day from the community kitchen. Continue to the house of Mahatma Ghandi. Drive past the Red Fort and then continue your explorations into New Delhi, finishing at Humayan's Tomb. (B)
Journey by road to Agra stopping at Sikandra en route. After check in begin your sightseeing of Agra starting with Agra Fort. Following this take a rare behind the scenes walk through India's Mughal history. (B)
Enjoy a sunrise tour of the legendary Taj Mahal. before you set off for Jaipur via the deserted town of Fatehpur Sikri. You will also have the chance to explore the ancient India water conservation system at Chand Baoli, before arriving in Jaipur. In the evening witness aarti at the beautifully carved Lakshmi Narayan temple. (B)
This morning visit the magnificent Amber Fort. Explore the City Palace and the Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory. This evening enjoy a culinary experience and dinner with a local royal Indian family where you can learn about exquisite dishes and also local cultures including saree draping and turban tying. Journey to Mandawa and enjoy an afternoon walking tour of Mandawa’s havelis. (B)
Travel by road to Bikaner. Enjoy an afternoon tour including a visit to Junagarh Fort. (B)
Journey to Jaisalmer. (B)
Enjoy a morning city tour of Jaisalmer, including the fort, Gadsisar Lake and some elaborate havelis. Then jump in a 4x4 for a jeep desert safari, (B)
Drive to the enchanting oasis of Manvar. This evening you’ll stay in a tented camp to experience a night in the desert. (B)(L)(D)
Travel to Jodhpur. On arrival, visit Mehrangarh Fort and the beautiful Jaswant Thada cenotaphs. Continue to Rohet. (B) (B)
This morning hop on a jeep safari to visit the Bishnoi tribal villages and enjoy a glimpse of Rajasthani cultural life. (B)
Journey to Udaipur. On the way, visit the Jain temple complex at Ranakpur. (B)
Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Udaipur including the ornate City Palace and Jagdish Temple. You will also have the chance to witness a 200 year old rare art form of Jal Sanjhi - painting on water - at the home of a priest. Enjoy an evening cruise on Lake Pichola. (B)
Transfer to the airport where your Rajasthan odyssey ends. (B)
