Day 1

Delhi

On arrival in Delhi you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
 

Day 2

Delhi

Explore Old Delhi by rickshaw, visiting Chandni Chowk, the firecracker market, the wedding market and Asia’s largest spice market. Following this spend time at a community temple and take a first-hand look at the community kitchen where all the food is made. Proceed to Mahatma Ghandi’s house and museum, drive past the Red Fort and then start your discovery of New Delhi in the afternoon, finishing at Humayan’s Tomb. (B)
 

Day 3

Delhi - Taboda

Fly to Nagpur where you will then transfer three hours by road to Tadoba, home to Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, one of India’s 47 project tiger reserves. (B)(D)
 

Day 4

Tadoba National Park

Enjoy early morning and afternoon jungle safaris by jeep in Tadoba National Park. Breakfast will be served inside the national park. (B)(L)(D)

Day 6

Taboda National Park - Pench National Park

Following a leisurely breakfast, you can explore the surroundings of the lodge or simply relax. After an early lunch you will drive for about three and a half hours to Pench. Pench Tiger Reserve and its neighbourhood is the original setting of Rudyard Kipling's most famous work, ‘The Jungle Book’. (B)(L)(D)

Day 7

Pench National Park

Early morning and afternoon, enjoy jungle safaris by jeep in Tadoba National Park. Breakfast will be served inside the national park.

Day 8

Pench National Park - Mumbai

Enjoy one last safari and then, after lunch, transfer back to Nagpur for your flight to Mumbai. (B)(L)

Day 9

Mumbai

Today visit Elephanta Island to explore the rock-cut cave temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Little is known about their origins but they are thought to have been created between 450 and 750 AD. (B)

Day 10

Mumbai - Aurangabad

Venture out on a for a full day privately guided visit to the World Heritage-listed Ajanta Caves, cut out of volcanic lava. (B)

Day 11

Aurangabad

Venture out on a for a full day privately guided visit to the World Heritage-listed Ajanta Caves, cut out of volcanic lava. (B)

Day 12

Aurangabad - Mumbai

This morning visit Ellora, home to an array of Hindu, Jain and Buddhist caves which are the works of priests and pilgrims passing through the ancient trade route. After your visit, board your flight to Mumbai where your trip ends. (B)
