AFRICAN safari operator Acacia is offering a selection of discounts depending on how many friends you can recruit to join one of their range of 20 African overland tours if you book during March through Adventure World.
For single travellers they are offering a 15 percent discount, if you bring a companion you will receive up to 17.5 per cent off the tour price. Groups of three get 20 percent off and for four or more people together each receive a 25 percent discount.
The adventures vary from six nights up 56 nights involving up to 12 African countries.
A perfect introduction to this magical continent is the 18-night South West safari, a comprehensive overview of the wildlife, scenery and culture of southern Africa from just $1470 after the group discount, including the basic locally made payment of US$415.
Taking in South Africa, Zambia, Namibia and Botswana, travel is in a purpose-built vehicle with camping and cooking equipment and the services of driver/guide/cook.
Most trips include ground transportation, accommodation and majority of meals. There may be extra flexible local payments required, starting from USD$30 for some itineraries.
