Philippine Airlines & Adventure World Offer - 7 Nights from $2868* per person

09 December 2011
Philippine Adventure Offers
Mountain Highs and Island Nights

Philippine Airlines and Adventure World have teamed up to offer an unforgettable journey among some of Asia’s most spectacular scenery, combining the UNESCO World-Heritage rice terraces at Banaue with the powder-white sands of Boracay.

The seven-night adventure begins with an escorted expedition to the remote mountain landscapes and renowned rice terraces north of Manila before escaping to the turquoise waters of the Philippines’ most celebrated tropical isle.

Priced from $2868* per person twin share, the package includes return flights to Manila from Sydney or Melbourne with Philippine Airlines, seven nights’ accommodation, a three-night Banaue Rice Terraces Heritage Tour with an English-speaking guide, return domestic flights to Boracay, transfers, daily breakfasts and taxes/charges.

The package is on sale until February 29, 2012, and is available for travel until March 31, 2012.

The 2000-year-old rice terraces of Banaue form some of the most magnificent scenery in the Philippines, covering vast areas of steep mountainside where ancient irrigation systems draw water from surrounding rainforests.

Adventure World’s expedition offers a chance to explore the rice terraces with a guide, including a walk among the terrace landscapes and a jeepney expedition to a local village. Other highlights include the picturesque town of Sagada where visitors have a chance to view ancient burial caves and the preserved coffins of the Ifugao people’s ancestors.

On the tropical island of Boracay, travellers can relax at a beachfront resort on the most celebrated stretch of sand in the Philippines. The island’s White Beach is frequently named among the world’s best beaches and its crystal waters are ideal for swimming, snorkelling and sailing. By night, the island’s beaches are alive with restaurants, bars and musicians.

Banaue and Boracay are two highlights of the new Adventure World Philippines brochure, offering both independent and escorted travel among the diverse island destinations of the Philippine archipelago.
