Stay in Hotel of the year 15 January 2010
ADVENTURE World has included in its Footsteps of the Kings itinerary a stay at an Indian Palace which has just been named 2009 Hotel of the Year.
The Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, which is also the home of the Maharaja of Jodhpur, has been handed the award by the editor of the “Gallivanter’s Guide”, a monthly publication which reviews the best hotels and resorts in the world and has subscribers in 42 countries.
The seven-night package is a roundtrip from Delhi that also visits Udaipur, Jaipur and Samode, staying in some of India’s finest hotel/palaces.
The deal costs from $2300 (a saving of $1173 on the brochure price) and includes transport in an air-conditioned private vehicle with an English-speaking guide, accommodation with breakfast and a broad sightseeing program.
