Drifters

  • Adventure World is the General Sales Agent for Drifters

Established in 1983, Drifters is owned and operated by South Africans, with a philosophy based on sustainability, contributing to the conservation of the area and to the well being of the inhabitants.

Each of their tours promises a unique experience, whether it be on the 5 day Bushveld Safari in Kruger Park or the 30 day Johannesburg to Nairobi Camping Safari.

Renowned for including far more in their packages than others, with most entry fees, permits and meals included, Drifters also promise - if they confirm a booking, they run the tour.

    Styles of Travel

Hiking/ Biking Trails - Drifters are going back to their roots and offering Hiking / Mountain Biking packages along a pristine section of the Wild Coast. This has to be one of the worlds best hiking / cycling areas, boasting 150 km of undeveloped, pristine coastline with endless beaches, the warm Indian Ocean, unpolluted estuaries, rolling hills dotted with traditional Xhosa villages, shipwrecks, whales (in season), a warm climate, and much more

Overland Safaris - a mix of camping, fly-in and 4x4 explorer safaris

Small groups - usually from 7 to 16 travellers per group, allowing the flexibility to travel off-the-beaten track.

All the trips are led by an experienced Tour Leader and each trip lists its ‘highlights’ and ‘optional activities’. Some participation is required by the group on most trips.
