Tour Details

  • Day 1: Arrive Delhi

    Upon arrival you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.

  • Day 2: Delhi

    A full day tour of Old and New Delhi, taking in the Red Fort, Raj Ghat and one of the largest mosques in India, Jama Masjid. After lunch, continue to India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb and the tallest stone tower in India, Qutab Minar. (B)(L)

  • Day 3: Delhi – Varanasi

    Transfer to the airport for your flight to Varanasi, situated on the banks of the holy river Ganges, a religious destination for the Hindu community. Visit the nearby buried Buddhist city of Sarnath where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon. (B)

  • Day 4: Varanasi

    Take a dawn boat ride on the Ganges for an unmatched view of the various ghats and the ceremonies performed by devout Hindus. Later in the morning, take a city tour to visit Bharat Temple, Banaras University and Sankat Mochan Temple. Remainder of the day at leisure. (B)

  • Day 5: Varanasi – Khajuraho

    Morning transfer to the airport for your onward flight to Khajuraho and transfer to your hotel. This afternoon visit the world's finest temple art.

  • Day 6: Khajuraho – Agra

    Journey by train to Agra. Transfer to your hotel. (B)

  • Day 7: Agra

    Morning tour of Agra, taking in the legendary Taj Mahal and its intricate marble decorations. Afterwards also visit the beautiful Agra Fort with its marble palaces. (B)

  • Day 8: Agra – Jaipur

    Depart for Jaipur by road, with a stop along the way at Fatehpur Sikri, the fortified ghost city built in 1569 by Emperor Akbar as his capital. Arrive at your hotel. (B)

  • Day 9: Jaipur

    Full day tour of Jaipur, including the Maharaja’s City Palace, the Palace of the Winds and Jai Singh’s Astrological Observatory. Ride an elephant to reach the magnificent Amber Fort. (B)

  • Day 10: Jaipur – Bikaner

    Depart by road for Bikaner. Visit the Shekhawati region on the way, famous for its beautifully painted frescoes on the village walls. (B)

  • Day 11: Bikaner – Jaisalmer

    Morning tour of Bikaner, including the impressive Junagarh Fort. Then travel by road to Jaisalmer. (B)

  • Day 12: Jaisalmer

    Morning tour of Jaisalmer, visiting Sonar Fort. This afternoon is free to relax and explore. End the day with a desert camel ride. (B)

  • Day 13: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur

    Depart by road for Jodhpur. Afternoon tour of this walled city, including the stunning hilltop Mehrangarh Fortress. (B)

  • Day 14: Jodhpur – Udaipur

    Travel by road to Udaipur. Visit the Jain temple complex at Ranakpur. Afternoon is at your leisure. (B)

  • Day 15: Udaipur

    Morning tour of Udaipur, including the ornate City Palace. (B)

  • Day 16: Udaipur – Delhi

    Fly to Delhi. Overnight in the new city of Gurguon, located close to the airport. This evening experience a truly Bollywood Evening at the Kingdom of Dreams Show. (B)(D)
