Itinerary

  • Day 1: Anchorage

    You will be transferred from the airport to your hotel.

  • Day 2: Anchorage

    Enjoy a tour of Anchorage, then travel to Portage Lake for a cruise to within 270 metres of Portage Glacier onboard the m/v Ptarmigan.

  • Day 3: Anchorage – Denali

    Travel aboard the spacious glass domed cars of the McKinley Explorer past awesome landscape to the vast Denali National Park. In the afternoon, choose from a wide range of optional activities.

  • Day 4: Denali

    Enjoy a Tundra Wilderness Tour into Denali National Park in search of moose, caribou, bear and Dall sheep - and perhaps catch sight of Mt. McKinley's snowcapped majesty.

  • Day 5: Denali – Fairbanks

    Enjoy a leisurely morning before re-boarding the McKinley Explorer to travel though the amazing Alaskan interior to Fairbanks.

  • Day 6: Fairbanks

    Transfer to the airport where your tour ends.
