Steamboat, Colorado Information

Steamboat is easily accessed through Denver and the local Hayden airport only 35kms from the slopes. Gladed areas with “Champagne Powder” are Steamboat’s particular claim to fame. Steamboat has over 100 bars and restaurants, hot thermal springs, a variety of fun and exciting winter activities and genuine western hospitality.

Mammoth, California Information

  • Located close to Yosemite National Park, Mammoth is almost mid-way between LA and San Francisco and only 242 km south of Lake Tahoe. As its name suggests, the ski area is huge and what makes it so special are its world famous bowls with gentle groomed trails, steep chutes and secluded tree runs. Off the mountain there is also plenty to experience and enjoy. Regularly offering skiing and riding into June, its snowfall record is legendary in the USA. Self drive is recommended as the best way to ski the region because local bus transfers to the resort are infrequent.
