Trek America Adventure specialists for the 18 to 38 year olds, Trek America has been operating for over 30 years.  There are over 47 different tours, ranging from 7 days to 9 weeks, all specially designed for the young travellers.  Fun, adventure, and the vacation of a lifetime on a budget you can afford!  Trek America departures are mostly over the North America summer months May to October, however their WinterSun program is a smaller selection of trips across continental USA concentrating on the southern states where temperatures are comfortable during the winter months. Footloose - Active Outdoor Holidays for All Ages Footloose is Trek America's specially designed programme for active adults of all ages. There are three types of tours in the Footloose range; camping, walking and lodging tours. Camping Tours are like the traditional Trek America tours, so food kitty applies and you need to bring your sleeping bag.  Lodging Tours are inclusive of accommodation enroute, no single supplement applies as you will be matched with another passenger if possible, if not there still will be no extra charge. Accommodation ranges from rustic log cabins to quaint motels and inns. No sleeping bag is required on the lodging tours and meals are taken at local restaurants where passengers pay individually so no food kitty applies. Walking Tours are designed for those with a passion for walking and hiking. To cater for different levels of ability an extra tour leader comes along, this means there are at least two trail route options on most days, and maximum group size is twelve. Most passengers are 25 to 55 years old on these trips.  Should you be over 55 you are welcome to join and just need to complete a self-declaration of fitness.  The minimum age is 16 and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or adult. If your thirst for adventure lends to the entire family, Footloose Family Adventures are a great way to have a hassle-free holiday and meet other families from around the world. Choose from Western USA, Canada and Mexico. Due to the nature of these tours and activities included, the minimum age is 8 years old, however children aged 6 and 7 will be considered on request.

Trek Adventures - Open Age Tours in Latin America Trek Adventures offer the excitement of a Trek tour, without the confines of age restrictions.  Destinations include Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentian and Brazil. Tours are small groups, maximum of 13, travelling in private vehicles and other forms of transport where appropriate. Accommodation varies but most of the tours are lodging based where more interesting lodges, cabins, ranches and hotels are selected. Tours in Patagonia re a mix of camping, lodging, cabins and ferries. This brochure is currently not available to download.
