Depart Vancouver early this morning by chartered plane and fly into Sandspit to connect by helicopter to Ocean House. After an orientation with a Cultural Ambassador, the rest of the day is free to explore the coastal settings and unwind with a peaceful walk along the beach or with a soak in the hot tub. (L)(D)
Connect with the wild world and head by Zodiac into an oasis of sacred waters surrounded by breathtaking landscapes that feature rare geological shorelines dotted by the magical realm of rainforests. This uninhabited region is home to some remarkable wildlife and marine life such as black bears (Haida Gwaii has the largest black bear species on the planet), eagles, orca whales, humpback whales, sea lions and others. Depart on foot with your guide into the lush canopied forests and trek along the streams where yet another rich dimension of Mother Nature is featured.
