Upon arrival at Victoria Falls Airport you will be met and transferred to Imbabala Zambezi Safari Lodge. Imbabala is a small unpretentious safari lodge offering a true “African Safari Experience” on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River. (D)
Early morning game drive followed by brunch at Imbabala Zambezi Safari Lodge. Enjoy afternoon high tea before departing on a river safari. On your river safari partake in the opportunity to travel upstream and take a photo at the convergence of four countries; Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and Namibia. (B)(L)(D)
Enjoy an early morning game drive and brunch at Imbabala. You will be collected for an Upper Zambezi Canoeing Safari. After a game drive through the Zambezi National Park, arrive at your riverside camp. The guide will give a thorough briefing, which will cover conditions of the river and rapids, canoeing
instruction, safety and general information. Camp overnight on the banks of the Zambezi River. (B)(L)(D)
A full English breakfast is served in the morning before an hour game drive upstream to the put-in point. Today is spent canoeing downstream - around 18kms - running small grade one and two rapids, exploring channels and bird and game viewing. This day includes the Sansimba Rapids. A picnic lunch is served on the mainland or an island. (B)(L)(D)
A delightful English breakfast is served, after which you board your canoe and spend the day canoeing another 18kms downstream to the mighty Victoria Falls. Rapids canoed today include the Kandahar Rapids. The scenery, channels and rapids on both days are very different. Transfer the short distance back to Victoria Falls and arrive at The Elephant Camp in the late afternoon.The camp is situated on its own private concession and offers exceptional lodge-style accommodation while being located in close proximity to the Falls. Enjoy breakfast at The Elephant Camp followed by a morning tour of the Falls. Transfer to Victoria Falls Airport. (B)
