This morning, fly from Anchorage to Kodiak, where you will board a floatplane bound for the Brown Bear Center at Camp Island. Upon arrival, there will be a brief safety orientation, and then the rest of the day is free for you to join one of the guided activities on offer. Later, relax in the traditional maqii (sauna) and reflect on the days events.
After breakfast, embark on a short boat ride to one of the bear viewing locations. Each location offers a unique glimpse into the life of the bears. You will be immersed into the bear’s environment to observe, study and gain a deeper appreciation for these legendary creatures. With a maximum of 6 guests at each bear viewing location, you will have the best possible bear viewing experience. Other activities on offer include hiking, kayaking and fishing.

In the morning, you have the opportunity to participate in one last guided activity. After lunch, you will check out of the Center and prepare for return flight to Kodiak, where you will connect on a scheduled flight to Anchorage this evening.
