Svalbard in Spring

Day 1


Explore this charming city. Stroll among the famed Vigeland sculptures or visit the Fram Museum, dedicated to the wooden ship sailed by Norwegian explorers. (D) 

Day 2

Oslo - Longyearbyen

Depart Oslo on a charter flight, and enjoy breathtaking vistas en route to Longyearbyen. On arrival, visit the Svalbard Museum and  tour the Gallery Svalbard before embarking National Geographic Endurance, your base for the next seven nights. (B)(L)(D) 

Day 3


Travel in the archipelago is truly exploratory by design. The main focus is the search for Svalbard’s amazing wildlife - polar bear, reindeer and walrus. Cruising in Svalbard’s fjords, venture to the foot of stunning tidewater glaciers, cruise in Zodiacs among beautiful icebergs and even set foot on the frozen ice right off the ship. (B)(L)(D)

Day 9

Longyearbyen - Oslo

Disembark the ship and head to the nearby Advent Valley for a taste of Arctic culture. Discover a unique collection of traditional buildings. Enjoy refreshments and meet some of the friendly sled dog huskies that reside at camp. Fly back to Oslo for a final night. (B)(L)
