Day 1

Buenos Aires

Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Meet your tour leader and enjoy an afternoon city tour, exploring the most icon sites of this cosmopolitan city.

Day 2

Buenos Aires - El Chalten

Fly to El Calafate. Drive across the Patagonian steppe to el Chalten, a charming mountain village and the getaway to the Fitz Roy Massif. (B) 

Day 3

El Chalten - Fitz Roy Mount

Today you have your first hike to the base-camp of the Fitz Roy Mount. You ascend up a gentle slope with fantastic views over the Fitz Roy Mount and Piedras Blancas glacier. The trail leads to banks of Blanco River, use by most trekking expeditions as a base-camp. Optional walk (400 metres uphill) to Laguna de Los Tres, an emerald lagoon surrounded by stunning glaciers. You head down to Capri Lagoon, before returning to the hotel in Chalten (7 hours). (B)(L)     

Day 4

Cerro Torre Mount - El Calafate

Today’s hike starts from the village taking you through the unique landscape of the Fitz Roy Valley. You hike through ‘Lenga’ forest until reaching a viewpoint, where you will be rewarded with stunning views of Cerro Torre, its glaciers and the Adela’s cord. The hike continues to Torre Lagoon where you pause for a picnic, while taking in the magnificent views. Head back to El Chalten for your transfer to El Calafate. (B)(L)

Day 5

Perito Moreno Glacier

Full day excursion to the Glaciares National Park to visit one of the world’s natural wonders, the Perito Moreno Glacier. Covering more than four square kilometres, this icefield is breathtaking. (B)

Day 6

El Calafate - Torres del Paine

Depart from El Calafate to Torres del Paine National Park. Enjoy the spectacular landscape of the Patagonian steppe, where plenty of wildlife can be seen. Cross the border at Cancha Carrera, before arriving at your hotel. The landscape is dominated by a colossal granite massif of smooth rock towers and icy pinnacles.  (B)

Day 7

Towers Base Camp

Drive to Laguna Amarga. Continue up the slopes of the Almirante Nieto Mount and reach Chileno Refuge, the trail leads to Las Torres base-camp through an unforgettable forest landscape. Continue hiking to reach Las Torres viewpoint, an amazing natural amphitheatre at the bottom of the vertical granite towers that reaches 2800m (8 hours). (B)(L)

Day 8

Torres del Paine National Park

Enjoy a free day to explore Torres del Paine National Park. (B)  

Day 9

Torres del Paine - Punta Arenas

You head south to the fishing town of Puerto Natales. Enjoy this picturesque village and continue to Punta Arenas. (B)

Day 10

Punta Arenas - Ushuaia

Travel by bus and ferry across the Magellan Strait to Rio Grande, in the Island of Tierra del Fuego. Continue further south and obverse the dramatic changes in the scenery until you reach Ushuaia, nicknamed the “End of the World”. (B)

Day 11

Tierra del Fuego

Drive to Tierra del Fuego National Park. Enjoy a beautiful subantarctic forest hike and a canoe ride across Lapataia Bay. (B) (L)

Day 12

Ushuaia - Buenos Aires

Enjoy a morning boat trip on the Beagle Channel, before transferring to the airport. (B)

Day 13

Buenos Aires

Transfer to the airport. (B)
