Day 1

Kasane Airport - Chobe National Park

On arrival at the Kasane Airport, you will be met by one of the guides from Chobe Game Lodge and transferred by road into the Chobe National Park to Chobe Game Lodge. Here you will spend two nights recovering from your long haul flight while enjoying the beautiful location on the edge of the Chobe River. With all activities included in your stay, you can enjoy a guided game drive through the Chobe National Park or a river safari for your chance to enjoy the excellent wildlife sightings from the water.

Day 2

Chobe National Park

Wake early to enjoy all the activities available to guests. Chobe Game Lodge offers a choice of land or water-based activities and the most complete game experience in the Chobe National Park.
 
Early-morning and late-afternoon game drives are conducted by expert guides in open-sided 4×4 vehicles to ensure maximum visibility of Chobe National Park’s spectacular scenery and abundant wildlife. Chobe Game Lodge has introduced four electric-powered game drive vehicles for a more immersive, carbon-emission free safari.
 
Glide noiselessly on the Chobe River in a solar-powered boat, your eyes meeting with elephants playing at the banks, as you realize—this is the epitome of eco-luxury. (B)(L)(D)

Day 3

Chobe National Park - Okavango Delta

Departing Chobe Game Lodge, you will transfer back to the Kasane airport for your light aircraft transfer into the Okavango Delta. Here you will spend three nights at the classic Xugana Island Lodge, ideally set on the edge of a deepwater lagoon offering the best views of the Okavango Delta imaginable. Xugana Island Lodge offers a variety of safari activities, including mokoro excursions, motorboat safaris, guided bush walks, day and night game drives, and optional helicopter flights. (B)(L)(D)

Day 4

Okavango Delta

This morning, start your day with a delicious breakfast before embarking on your first morning’s activity in the Okavango Delta.
 
Described as ‘the jewel of the Kalahari’, the Okavango Delta – a tranquil and isolated oasis set in the harsh and arid surroundings of Botswana’s bush and desert – is widely regarded as one of Africa’s best safari destinations, with its rich diversity of fauna and flora.
 
You will have the next two full days to enjoy water-based activities conducted by experienced professional guides who will expertly navigate guests through the many meandering, reed-lined waterways. Roam the vast expanses of water from the comfort of a modern motorboat or explore the intricacies of the Okavango Delta the quiet old-fashioned way, in the traditional mokoro (dugout canoe). (B)(L)(D)

Day 5

Okavango Delta

Enjoy more time out on the Okavango Delta’s pristine waterways and island systems coming up close with nature and tranquility.  Guests can take the opportunity to experience a guided bush walk conducted on several of the nearby islands, offering a chance to track some of the larger land-based species that inhabit this water wilderness. Birding opportunities are outstanding, and anglers may put their skill against bream and tiger fish. 
 
Sit back and watch the sun set whilst on the water or from the deck of the camp’s communal area sipping a G&T as you hear the sounds of bush start to slow as the day draws a close.  Look up at the sky as it reveals the blanket of stars including the Milky Way come alive along with evening chorus of frogs and the occasional hippo.
 
This permanent water-based camp does not offer game-drive activities, using safari vehicles. (B)(L)(D)

Day 6

Okavango Delta - Moremi Game Reserve

Enjoy your final breakfast on the deck offering a window to Okavango's soul, say goodbye to the hypnotic lagoon views that capture the essence of this aquatic wonderland before taking a short flight to the world-renowned Moremi Game Reserve staying at Camp Moremi.  Here you will have the opportunity to enjoy the exceptional wildlife encounters for which the Moremi Game Reserve is known. The Moremi Game Reserve is not just one of the world’s premier game-viewing destinations—it's an intricate tapestry of ecosystems, each thread weaving a tale of survival, beauty, and evolution.
 
Camp Moremi has a well-deserved legacy in the Botswana tourism industry for being able to deliver the classic African safari experience. Completely rebuilt in 2018 as a modern luxury safari lodge, Camp Moremi is located within the world-renowned Moremi Game Reserve.
 
Guest activities include a choice of morning and afternoon game drives throughout the many different ecosystems that the Moremi Game Reserve has to offer or the possibility to explore the Xakanaxa Lagoon and its surrounding channels by boat. This blend of activities allows for access to incredible landscapes, impressive wildlife as well as the opportunity to enjoy the picturesque waters of the Okavango Delta. (B)(L)(D)
 

Day 7

Moremi Game Reserve

As the first light of dawn paints the landscape in shades of gold and amber, gear up for your morning game drive. Climb aboard the open-sided 4x4 vehicle, expertly guided by Camp Moremi’s seasoned rangers. The reserve is a patchwork of lagoons, shallow flooded pans, plains, and forests—an unmatched diversity of ecosystems that hosts an equally varied collection of species. Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive leopard, the regal lion, or even a pack of wild dogs on the hunt. Every corner turned is a page flipped in the untold story of Moremi.
 
Return to Camp Moremi for an outdoor lunch on one of the camp’s many decks. Enjoy cuisine that fuses African and international flavors all served in a setting that captures the rustic elegance of the bush. Use this time to reflect, rest or even capture your thoughts in a journal as you anticipate the afternoon’s escapades.  You will have the choice to enjoy the camp, head out on a game drive, an afternoon hike or back onto the water. (B)(L)(D)

Day 8

Moremi Game Reserve

Begin your day before the dawn breaks to catch the Moremi Reserve at its most magical. Freshly brewed local coffee and light snacks will be provided to get you ready for the adventures that await.
 
As the sun peaks over the horizon, delve into the heart of the Maasai Mara with your experienced guide. The morning is one of the best times to spot predators, including lions and cheetahs, on the hunt.  Continue your exploration, focusing now on the herds of elephants, buffalo, and zebras. Capture incredible photos, as your guide provides insights into the unique behaviors and habitats of the animals you encounter as the sun rises.
 
After a few hours of game viewing, return to camp to enjoy a hearty breakfast.
 
The afternoon drive offers a fresh perspective as new animals become active while others take their rest. Watch hippos emerge from the water, and perhaps catch a leopard lounging in a tree.  As the sun sets over the vast reserve, sip on a G&T and indulge in some local snacks. The moment captures the essence of safari—a profound connection with nature, enriched by comfort.
 
As dusk falls, return to the lodge for an al fresco dinner, designed to celebrate the day's explorations. Revel in the flavors of the bush, whilst recalling the day’s experiences. Post dinner, gather around the roaring firepit. As the night sky unveils its tapestry of stars, the hypnotic sounds of the African night come alive—the distant roar of a lion, the plaintive cry of a hyena, or the subtle rustle of a leopard in the bush. These are the lullabies of Moremi, echoing long after your journey ends.

Day 9

Moremi Game Reserve - Maun

Enjoy one last safari activity before bidding farewell to the Desert and Delta team.  Your drive to the airstrip will allow guests to say goodbye for now to the plethora of animals that call Moremi home.  Depending on your onward arrangements your flight can return you to Maun or Kasane. (B)
