Transfer from Heho Airport to Inle Lake. Start your adventure with a hike through rolling hills to visit local hill tribe communities and see traditional craft-making techniques.
Today a full day of cycling will uncover spectacular rice paddy scenery, temples, monasteries and an Indein village - all along the western edge of spectacular Inle Lake. In the afternoon, board a boat to Nampam village, home of the indigenous Inthar people, famous for their leg-rowing techniques. Continue cycling with a wine tasting en route back to your hotel. Later, take a leisurely walk in the beautiful Alaung Sitthou area, with its many picturesque stupas and wonderful lake vistas. (B)(L)
Starting at the lakeside village of Ywama, board your kayak and paddle out into the canals which are the streets of this delightful community. Witness typical lake life scenes and take tea in one of the stilt houses. Afterwards head to Heho for your onward flight. (B)
