Day 1

Siem Reap

After arrival, you will have your first glimpse of Angkor at the early temples of the Roluos Group. Continue to the Cambodian countryside for an ox-cart ride and then be treated to a private blessing from a monk at the nearby Roluos Pagoda. You will then experience amazing views over Angkor Wat on a tethered balloon flight. Dinner this evening is at Viroth’s Restaurant. (D)

Day 2

Siem Reap

This morning discover some of the main Angkor sites on a leisurely bicycle ride. Visit Angkor Thom and Bayon Temple. Spend the early afternoon exploring Siem Reap’s colourful markets, and end your day with a tour to the temples of the Small Circuit by local remork. (B)

Day 3

Siem Reap

Start early to catch the sunrise at Angkor Wat. After breakfast at Angkor Café, located in front of the monument, explore Angkor Wat in depth. Travel to the pretty temple of Banteay Srei. On the way back to Siem Reap, stop at the Landmine Museum which promotes mine awareness. (B)

Day 4

Siem Reap - Battambang

Board a private boat that will take you on a fascinating journey across Tonle Sap Lake to Battambang. In the afternoon, explore cultural villages around Battambang learning how local products are made such as rice paper and fish paste. Tonight, a special visit awaits you at Phare Ponleu Selpak – School of Music, Visual & Performing Arts. Dinner this evening is at the stylish social enterprise restaurant, Jaan Bai. (B)(L)(D)

Day 5


Spend the morning on a tour to experience Battambang daily life. The tour includes prayers with monks as well as explanations of the city’s design and artistic heritage. Afterwards explore the riverbank by bike. (B)

Day 6

Battambang - Phnom Penh

Travel to Phnom Penh. Along the way visit Kampong Chhnang, known for its traditional pottery, and climb the stairs to the top of Oudong Mountain for magnificent views before visiting the spectacular Vipassana Dhura Buddhist Meditation Centre. (B)(L)

Day 7

Phnom Penh

Explore Phnom Penh by cyclo and visit the Royal Palace and Wat Phnom. In the afternoon, learn about Cambodia’s recent dark history on a visit to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. Enjoy dinner at the renowned Foreign Correspondents’ Club. (B)(L)(D)

Day 8

Phnom Penh

Your tour will end after breakfast with a transfer to the airport. Or why not consider a beach extension to Kep or Sihanoukville? (B)
