Upon arrival at Calama Airport you will be transferred to the Tierra Atacama Hotel & Spa.
Enjoy one of the many activities available such as a full-day excursion to the Altiplanic Lagoons, Aguas Calientes and Tuyajto including a visit to the area of Piedras (Red Rocks), with formations that seem to come from another world. You can also visit the Tatio Geisers, with their huge steam columns which reach heights of 12 metres, and there are opportunities to spot families of vicunas, foxes, vizcachas and Andean ostrich. Take a trip to the tiny village of Machuca, located to the north of San Pedro de Atacama, or take a dip in the natural pools of the Puritama Hot Springs, hidden at the bottom of a steep sided gorge and surrounded by vegetation. Or visit the Atacama Salt Flat, Chaxa Lagoon and the Flamingo Reserve, where you'll find three types of flamingo.
There are many more opportunities to explore the area, with volcano climbs, horse rides, stargazing, night excursions, and walking, hiking and biking. (L)(D)

Transfer to Calama airport for your flight to Santiago. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the Ritz Carlton Hotel. Santiago, the capital of Chile, is a bustling, modern city nestled in a valley amidst the ever-present backdrop of the majestic snow-capped Andes. (B)
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Punta Arenas. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Tierra Patagonia, located approximately 4 hours by road. Tierra Patagonia Hotel & Spa sits on a bluff where the South American pampa meets Lake Sarmiento. The building is immersed in the landscape and emerges from the hillside.
