Day 1


On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 2


Visit one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World - the Pyramids and Sphinx at Giza - followed by Memphis and Sakkara. Memphis was once the capital of ancient Egypt and Sakkara yields a huge cemetery and active burial ground nearby (entrance fee to enter the Pyramids is additional). (B)(L)


Day 3

Cairo - Luxor

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Luxor. Join your cruise to begin your Nile journey to Aswan.
After lunch, you will visit the East bank of the Nile including the Karnak and Luxor Temples. The Luxor Temple was known to ancient Egyptians as Ipet Reseyet, the Harem of the South. The Karnak Temples were known as Iput-Isut, the most esteemed of places. Karnak is built on a massive scale, the complex covers 100 acres and its history spans thirteen centuries.

After your visit to the temples, you will be transported back to your cruise boat, where you will spend the rest of the evening and your overnight stay. (B)(L)(D)

Day 4

Luxor - Esna

After breakfast, your guide will take you on an excursion to visit the Valley of the Kings, Deir El-Bahari known as Queen Hatshepsut's temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. The Valley of the Kings lies on the West Bank of Luxor and is known as the Valley of the Dead. This is where tombs and temples were used to honour the Pharaohs, Queens, and all the very important people of the Kingdom.
Queen Hatshepsut, the only woman to rule over Egypt as Pharaoh named her temple "Djeser Djeseru", the Splendour of Splendours.
The Colossi of Memnon are 18 metre high statues, the only remains of a temple built by Amenhotep II. After your excursion, you will be transported back to your cruise boat. Commence sailing to Esna. The boat will dock in Esna where you will enjoy dinner and lots of entertainment onboard.. (B)(L)(D)

Day 5

Esna - Kom Ombo

This morning the boat will sail from Esna, crossing the lock of Esna to Edfu. Here you will be escorted to the temple of Edfu, dedicated to the Hawk-God Horus. When you return to the cruise boat, it will then commence sailing to Kom Ombo where you will visit the Kom Ombo temple. This temple is dedicated to the two deities. The left half to the hawk-headed Harwar and the right to the crocodile God Sobek.
After your visit to Kom Ombo, return to the cruise boat. This evening the boat will dock in Kom Ombo where you will enjoy dinner and entertainment. (B)(L)(D) 

Day 6

Kom Ombo - Aswan

The boat will commence sailing to Aswan this morning. Enjoy a felucca ride in the afternoon around Elephantine Island.

The boat will dock in Aswan, where you will enjoy dinner and lots of entertainment on your last night. (B)(L)(D)

Day 7

Aswan - Abu Simbel - Cairo

This morning visit the impressive temple of Abu Simbel. On your return to Aswan disembark the ship before touring Aswan. The tour includes the High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple. Later today fly back to Cairo. (B)(L)(D)

Day 8


See the ancient sites of the city. Visit the famous Egyptian Museum, the Citadel of Saladin, the alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali and the old bazaar of Khan el Khalili (entrance fee to mummies room at the museum is additional). (B)(L)


Day 9


Your journey ends with a transfer to the airport for your departure flight. (B)
