Upon arrival you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.
Discover the gems on Chandni Chowk, see, antiques, perfumes, Kinari Bazaar, spices and sample some street food on a rickshaw ride through Old Delhi. See a temple community kitchen that feeds 10,000 people a day. Continue to the museum of Mahatma Ghandi before seeing the highlights of New Delhi, finishing at Humayan’s Tomb. (B)
Fly from Delhi to Varanasi. On arrival visit Sarnath. In the evening take a sunset boat ride on the Ganges and witness an aarti on the Ghat. (B)
Take a dawn boat ride on the Ganges and enjoy a tour through the narrow streets to witness local life and take in the sights. You will then visit an Akhara, a traditional wrestling centre and a must-see experience. Varanasi is also a hub for traditional music, and this afternoon you have the chance to visit a workshop and interact with the craftsman making the instruments. (B)
Fly to Khajuraho. This afternoon visit the world’s finest erotic temple art. In the evening experience the incredible sound and light show at the western group of temples. (B)
Travel by road to Jhansi to board the train to Agra via Orchha's impressive fort complex. (B)
Tour the legendary Taj Mahal, followed by the Agra Fort. This afternoon a heritage walk will uncover the history of the Mughal era. (B)
Depart for Jaipur by road. Stops will be made along the way at Fatehpur Sikri as well as the ancient stepwell at Abanheri. This evening experience Bollywood of a very local nature this evening at Raj Mandir Theatre. (B)
Today enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Jaipur, taking in the Palace of the Winds, the old market centre and the magnificent Amber Fort. At the City Palace you will be allowed into the residential area of the royal family for tea in one of the living rooms. (B)
Drive to the vibrant desert town of Bikaner. In the afternoon tour Junagarh Fort. (B)
Travel to Jaisalmer and explore this golden desert city. (B)
Take in the sights of Jaisalmer including Jaisalmer Fort, Gadsisar Lake and some interesting havelis. Afterwards jump in a 4x4 for a jeep desert safari. (B)
Depart by road for Jodhpur. In the late afternoon visit a Bishnoi village and learn of the unique way of life of the community. (B)
Visit the stunning hilltop Mehrangarh Fortress including Jaswant Thada cenotaphs. Afterwards, walk through the old town and local bazaar. (B)
Journey to Udaipur via the Jain temple complex in Ranakpur. (B)
Tour Udaipur, visiting the ornate City Palace and Jagdish Temple. Then enjoy an exclusive experience, seeing the rare art of Jal Sanjhi - painting on water - at a priest's home. This evening take a boat ride on Lake Pichola. (B)
