On arrival in Nairobi you will be met and transferred to the stylish new Hemingways Hotel.
Today you will be picked up for an early morning transfer to Wilson Airport for the scheduled flight to Samburu National Park, with the possibility of seeing the spectacular Mount Kenya, Africa's second highest mountain, en-route. Upon arrival, you will be met by a guide from Saruni Samburu with a game drive to the camp. Following lunch, there is an afternoon game drive returning to camp for sunset. Spend three nights at Saruni Samburu. The lodge is located on Kalama Conservancy next to Samburu National Reserve, in Kenya's wild north. Surrounded by a 95,000 hectare private reserve and perched on top of a spectacular viewpoint, its villas and swimming pool overlooks waterholes where the famous Samburu elephant, leopard, reticulated giraffe and Grevy zebra gather to drink. Enjoy the activities offered by the lodge including guided walks, day and night game drive and a complimentary massage per cottage. The vastness and purity of this African landscape, combined with the untouched local cultuer, will make this safari different. Saruni is close enough to game drive inside Samburu National Reserve, Buffalo Springs National Reserve and West Gate Conservancy, but many activities take place in Kalama, a well-kept secret of Kenya's north. After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to the Masai Mara. On arrival in the Mara you are transferred to the lodge for lunch. Following lunch and an afternoon siesta, there is a game drive that returns to the lodge in time for sundowners. Spend three nights at Saruni Masai Mara. (B)(L)(D)
Enjoy the activities offered by the lodge, including guided walks, day and night game drives and a complimentary massage per cottage. Saruni Mara is the smallest permanent lodge in the Mara ecosystem and is located in the game rich and exclusive Mara North Conservancy. With only 14 guests in six spectacular cottages, it is set in a remote valley in the heart of Kenya's most exciting wilderness area.
