Arrive at Mexico City Airport and transfer to your chosen hotel for two nights.

Day 2

Mexico City

See the city’s historic heart, the vast Constitution Square or El Zocalo. Highlights include the magnificent National Palace, with its famous murals by Diego Rivera depicting the history of Mexican civilisation. Continue to the Baroque Metropolitan Cathedral, the largest cathedral in the Americas and was completed in stages between 1573 and 1813 to replace a church built when the Spanish first conquered Tenochtitlan. Your last stop is at the Museum of Anthropology which holds one of the world’s finest anthropological collections with over six hundred thousand artefacts. (B)
