Day 1


Arrive in Winnipeg and check into your airport hotel for the night.

Day 2

Winnipeg - Churchill

Depart on the morning flight from Winnipeg to Churchill. Upon arrival in Churchill you will take part in a city tour of the town and the surrounding areas including a stop at Churchill's Eskimo Museum, which contains one of Canada's best collections of Inuit carvings and artefacts, and Parks Canada Interpretive Centre, where the detailed exhibits, dioramas and videos will offer natural and historical inforamtion about the Churchill region. Day 3


Learn about the historic and cultural significance of dog sledding in Northern Canada, before meeting your team of huskies and enjoying a thrilling mile long sled ride through the boreal forest on a custom made sled. This afternoon transfer to the Tundra Buggy Lodge launch for the trip across the Churchill Wildlife Management area, home to the largest concentration of polar bears in Churchill, before arriving at Tundra Buggy Lodge. This unique property offers guests the opportunity of a lifetime to get up close and personal with the polar bears that call the region home at this time of year; you may even find one right outside your window! Day 4


Board the Tundra Buggy after breakfast for two full day excursions into the Churchill Wildlife Management Area Keep an eye out for polar bears and other amazing wildlife such as the Arctic fox and Arctic hare, as you explore the tundra terrain of this unique part of the world. The knowledgeable interpretive guides on-board the Tundra Buggy will offer information and insights about the lives of polar bears and other incredible wildlife of the area. In the evenings, relax in the lounge after a delicious dinner, spend the evening watching the night sky for the Northern Lights (weather permitting) or enjoy a presentation from world renowned polar bear researchers and scientists. Churchill - Winnipeg

Following breakfast, depart the lodge for your last Tundra Buggy expedition and last opportunity to view polar bears. You will be transferred back to Churchill, before taking an evening flight back to Winnipeg. (B)(L)(D)
