On arrival, transfer to the Maslow Hotel, located in the heart of Johannesburg’s most vibrant neighbourhood, Sandton. In the afternoon, explore the township of Soweto and pass landmarks such as Nelson Mandela’s former home, Desmond Tutu’s house and the Hector Pieterson Memorial. Afterwards, uncover the history of twentieth-century South Africa at the Apartheid Museum.
After breakfast, join a walking tour through the heart of the City of Gold. Visit a craft brewery and walk past Chancellor House, from where Nelson Mandela and Oliver Tambo ran the first black legal practice in the country during the 1950s. (B)
Transfer to the world-renowned Sun City Resort, where you will spend three nights at the 5-star Palace of the Lost City.
