Day 1
Spend the day at leisure exploring Vancouver, ahead of your journey to Haida Gwaii tomorrow.
Day 2
Depart from Vancouver on a flight bound for Masset Airport today, where you will then transfer to the Haida House at Tllaal. Following a warm Xaayda Gwaay.yaay Haida Gwaii welcome and guest orientation session, enjoy a gourmet, West Coast style dinner. Before or after dinner you will have time to walk along the long sandy beach or explore the 50-acre property. (D) Haida Tourism is 100% Haida-owned. Cultural preservation is vital to the community. Day 3
Start your day with breakfast before departing for HlGaagilda Skidegate via a scenic drive along the coast. Upon arrival, you will be led on a private interpretative tour of the award-winning Kay Llnagaay Heritage Centre and Museum, followed by a visit to a local Haida artisan’s studio or carving shed. Day 4
Today you have a choice of three special adventures: • K’uuna Skedans Expedition: A Zodiac excursion to the village site of K’uuna. Welcomed by a Haida Watchman, you will be guided through the site and learn the history of the village, what the poles represent, and how the people lived. • Hlk’yah GawGa Windy Bay Tour: This day tour takes you to beautiful Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve and Haida Heritage Site. Learn the story behind the park’s creation and view the stunning Legacy Pole. • Gandll K’in Hot Springs Tour: Visit Hotsprings Island and take the opportunity to soak in the ancient natural hot springs; a long-time destination for those seeking healing and replenishment. The surrounding intertidal environment is unique, beautiful and fascinating. After your adventure, enjoy the amenities of the property for the remainder of the day and evening. (B)(L)(D)
Day 5
Today we explore the area surrounding Tlell on the Magical History Tour, and enjoy moderate, relaxed hiking while learning more about the area’s rich ecology, paleontology, and geological history. Or you may participate in a privately-led class with a renowned Haida weaver. Learn a few Haida words while you create your very own woven treasure. We will also visit the quaint village of Gamadiis Port Clements and embark on a spiritual forest walk to the viewpoint of the historic Golden Spruce. Following this, we will enjoy sampling some homemade baked goods at a popular local bakery. (B)(L)(D)
Day 6
After a delicious breakfast, it is time to say farewell and make your check-out arrangements. Depart to Masset Airport by the lodge shuttle and take your flight back to Vancouver for a final night. (B)

Check out of your hotel this morning for your onward travel plans or journey home.
