Day 1


Framed by the Pacific Ocean and Coast Mountains, Vancouver is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and cosmopolitan adventurers alike. Spend some time exploring this scenic city at leisure. Perhaps a visit to Granville Island appeals, or a bike ride through Stanley Park. Duck over to the North Shore to visit Capilano Suspension Bridge, or explore the culinary delights of Gastown. 

Day 2

Vancouver - Kamloops

On today’s journey, witness dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains, to the desert-like environment of the BC Interior. (B, L)

Day 3

Kamloops - Jasper

Enjoy being surrounded by dramatic scenery as the train follows the banks of the North Thompson River through the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains, climbing ever nearer to the high peaks of the Continental Divide. (B, L)

Day 4

Jasper - Lake Louise

Travel via one of the most scenic highways in the world, the Icefields Parkway. The Columbia Icefield is one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle and one of the most accessible icefields in North America. (L)

Day 5

Lake Louise - Banff

This afternoon, travel into Yoho National Park to view some of its natural wonders. Among the attractions are the Spiral Tunnels, Emerald Lake and a natural rock bridge that spans the Kicking Horse River.  

Day 6


This morning, enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Banff and Banff National Park. Among the highlights are visits to Bow Falls, the Banff Gondola, Lake Minnewanka, Surprise Corner and the Hoodoos.

Day 7

Banff - Kamloops

Travel through a spectacular array of scenery between the glacier and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies, over mountain passes and through remarkable tunnels, along rocky lakeshores and across the ranchlands of the Interior. (B, L)

Day 8

Kamloops - Vancouver

Continue west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. Take note of the dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the Interior, through winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Coast and Cascade Mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley. Day 9

Vancouver - Whitehorse

Transfer to the airport for your flight north to the Yukon. Whitehorse is small and easy to explore. Later in the evening set out to the Aurora Centre to seek the sight of northern lights.

Day 10


Discover the sights of Whitehorse, historic and yet trendy, on a city tour with character. Visit the Yukon Wildlife Preserve for close views of many of the Yukon’s large mammal species including elk, moose, mule deer, caribou, Dall’s sheep, mountain goats, bison and even the musk-ox of the high Arctic. Indulge with a soak in the natural springs at Takhini Hot Springs. Later, relax under the starry sky beside a warm fire at one of the tailor-made aurora viewing locations.

Day 11


On a hiking tour you’ll get to see some of the most spectacular views of the Yukon’s landscape and scenery. The panoramic views let you enjoy the vast open space of the Yukon. Later in the evening, set out once more to the Aurora Centre to seek the northern lights.

Day 12


Your adventure ends with a transfer back to the Whitehorse airport for your onward journey.
